I have been getting error AMQ 9213 for process(23243.4231152) program(amqrmppa).
How do I identify which channel this is associated with. I do not see any channel which is retrying?
I used ps -ef | grep 23243 and all i see is /opt/mqm/bin/amqrmppa -m qmgr* |

Precisely and exactly where do you see the error? Did you look in all of the qmgr errors directorie to see if the error appears?
What have you done to investigate this

this error keeps getting written to the queue manager error logs. I dont see any any of the aplications complaining and this is the broker queue manager. It is just that this error is filling up the queue manager error logs. I did not do anything to investigate it further.

This is a tcp error that wmq discovered, and recorded in the errror log.
Search google for the tcp error code; then hand this to your network folks.
