hi,
is there a way we can extraxt the messages from Mainframe and load them to Unix.
I know from Unix to Unix we use RFHUTIL
From MF to MF we can copy the messages.
But this is quite tricky..

RFHUtilc if your mainframe permits it.
qload likewise.
CSQUTIL onto a remote queue if it doesn't.
5 line application if you can't work CSQUTIL. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I'm confused.
Why does "DEFINE QREMOTE(..." not work to solve this problem? |

It does form part of option 3.
I'm seeing the OP's requirement as a one-time task to move some messages.
If it's an ongoing requirement then you're entirely correct. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

You can use MQ Visual Edit's Backup Queue and Restore Queue functionality to do this.
