Hi,

We have installed WMQ 7.0.1.8 on Windows 2008 R2.

We have created an MSCS Cluster (with a disk and IP resource).

We are now trying to run the haregtyp /r command to 'register' MQ as a cluster respurce type to the MS Cluster.

When we run the command we get -
AMQ7077: You are not authorized to perform the requested operation.

The users running the command have local admins and members of the local mqm and also domain mqm groups. We have even run the command as a domain admin.

Anyone have any ideas as to the possible cause?

Some outfits make their admins work on the down low... i.e. no access to modify the registry, but full access to file systems...

Make sure the users have full access to all resources that are potentially needed. or that they will have to create....
