where will be store WMQ OAM related information? Is it registry entries (or) some where?
Because I can see the channel related information in windows registry? But, I am unable to find the OAM information.

Why would you think it would be Registry? What mechanism do you think the queue manager might use to store such information? Hint - look at how SYSTEM queues are utilised. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Are you asking because you are interested in how MQ works, or are you trying to determine what OAM authorizations have been set for your queue manager? If it is the latter, you might look into the dmpmqaut command. |

Are you trying to determine if WMQ OAM stores it's authorization information in a secured manner? |

Hi every body, thank u very much for your support.
My question is where will store the OAM information (i.e. For example When we are providing authorizatin for queues and channels and so on. Where exactly store this information).

If you need an official answer that you can base business decisions on, you need to open a PMR.
Otherwise, the answer is "SYSTEM.AUTH.DATA.QUEUE", you see the QUEUE that holds the AUTH DATA for the SYSTEM. |

Hi All,
Thank you very much again.
I am usig VCS cluster. And I have Active and passive nodes. If we provide the authentication for any object, might be it will store in "SYSTEM.AUTH.DATA.QUEUE" queue of the active node.
So, If the information stores in "SYSTEM.AUTH.DATA.QUEUE" queue, if any fail over happaned will it replicate in Passive node also?

Gosh, what happens when YOU actually test it yourself, rather than asking random strangers on the internet for breadcrumbs?
Or to put it another way, why do you think a VCS cluster has any affect on this? |

And why are you hijacking a thread? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

You're confused? I've just realised I posted that in the wrong thread!
