The subject is not phrased to get everyone's attention.
I really need to bypass security or find a workaround since others are not cooperating for various reasons.
A windows (2K3) service connects to queue manager on W2K3 server. The service runs under local system account and has no security issue connecting to queue manager and queues.
I want the service to start using a different queue manager on Linux server so that I can decommission the W2K3 QM. The service fails to connect and trace shows "UnknownPrincipal(system)". The owner of service is refusing to change service to run under different service account and Linux admins do not want to create an account called "system".
Is there any work-around for this situation or any way to bypass security? The messages are not sensitive data.

Set the MCAUser to an id that exists on the Linux box & has the proper permisions aginst the Linux queue manager to do what it needs to do & only what it needs to do.
Not bypassing security or working round security but using the provided features. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
