Hi all.

I have another GREAT problem.
I have a cyclic restart/failover in a HACMP configuration.
It is the Qmanager which doesn't want to get up. The .ini files looks OK to me.
the best clue I hace is the following:

11/01/02 10:34:47
AMQ6119: An internal MQSeries error has occurred ('13 - The file access
permissions do not allow the speci' from unlink.)

Any ideas anyone?

Does the mqm user ID have enough authority to manipulate files in the /var/mqm directories (unlinking a file is a delete on Unix I believe)?

Check the file permissions against another QM that can start correctly.

The mqm group should be allowed to manipulate files in the /var/mqm directory and subdirectories and the mqm user ID must be a member of that group.

And you are rigth, there was a change in the permissions and we found out that it was causing the problem late last nigth.
