Using WTX with WMB

Hi, I am using WTX 8.3 and WMB 7.0. I am using a DBLOOKUP query in WTX by passing the parameters as below.

DBLOOKUP ( "SELECT DISTINCT Clmn1 FROM Table1 WHERE Clmn2 LIKE '"+ABC+"' AND MSG_STAT_CD LIKE 'XYZ%'","-DBTYPE ODBC -SOURCE <Datasourcename> -USER <username> -PASSWORD <password>" )

The above query is working for me. But I want to implement the same using a ".mdq" file as I cannot change the username and password for every environment.

Please help me with a sample ".mdq"

Leaving aside the morality of using WTX, you can find an article in the InfoCentre that describes the MDQ format.

You should be on later versions of the software you are using.
