Hi All,
We are in the midst of automating our bar file builds. We have noticed that when we invoke mqsicreatebar it takes a long time to complete and the command exits with no response(Success/Failure) with no bar file generated.
This happens on my laptop running Windows XP + SP 3 and Toolkit details of Version: 7.0.0.1 - Build id: 7.0.0.1-20100630_0750
Command Used
C:\IBM\MQSI\7.0>mqsicreatebar -data C:\workspace_05Aug2010 -b C:\Temp\Test.bar -cleanbuild -p CUSTOMER_MSG_SET -o CUSTOMER_MSG_SET\CUSTOMER_MSG_SET\messageSet.mset
I understand that this could happen if there were errors in the Project that i am using to build the bar file, but in the current scenario, the project is just a message set with no errors. (When i open my toolkit with a workspace pointed to C:\Temp - The location of the destination bar file, i can see that the project has no errors. )
I am successful in creating the bar file with this message set with the toolkit opened. Googling around did not yield anything of relevance.
Any Inputs will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

I can corroborate this. The exact same behavior happened yesterday to me. The strange part is that mqsicreatebar had been working, then stopped working |

You reopened a 1,5 year old post, so I doubt you have the exact same behavior.
Version and error message would help us help you.
There is a new flag you may want to use, don't have it handy right now but I think you will find it if you search this forum for the command. |
