Hi Im a newbie to ebiz. When I click jump to rules in one of my output controls in the NEON formatter, i get this error message "[-2622] invalid rules management object passed in". NEON rule management console gets loaded, but i cannot view the NNSYRF_OUTPUT_CONTROL application group. What might be the problem, i must be making a silly mistake, can someone shed some light on this problem |

Did you try searching this forum?
If you did, you might have found this.
Did you ask Museum of Technology if they have any microfilmed NEON manuals left? |

Someone is making a silly mistake having NEON anywhere in a modern estate. It's been dead & gone for 10 years, and wasn't all that great when it was new & there was some kind of support for it.
I would guess that you're attempting to run the management console on a version of Windows it doesn't understand (i.e. everything except base WinXP) and the security's getting hosed up. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Everyone is new one day and from time to time again, welcome!... Well ebiz... great to get to know you, I am doing systems integration with Message Broker.

If you properly argue why you use something which comes from NEON times (whats that, last century!?), then we would at least know that... but I guess nobody uses this software anymore and nobody here can actually help you. You should really try to upgrade, I guess or search in the archive (Google). _________________ Just use REFERENCEs |

Hi Esa,
I went thru this post before. But the problem of mine seems to be different from this. I could see all the rules that i have created when I open Neon rules. But When I click jump to rules in one of my output controls in the NEON formatter, i get this error message and then Neon rules management console opens, but I cannot see any System created application groups in the console(eg: NNSYRF_OUTPUT_CONTROL)
Im using windows server 2003, and MS SQL server |

Hi vasanthcolombo,
I'm sorry but I cannot help you. I have been using Message Broker for almost 10 years, but NEON was already history when I started. |

If you tell us why you are using this old software, then this might lead to more support (from the forum side)... did you lose the Administrator-Password, like e.g. 8 years ago ?! _________________ Just use REFERENCEs |

I was using MQSI longer ago than that & it was history as a standalone product.

If you don't like the answers you're getting here, asking the same question on another thread is unlikely to achieve different answers.
The only thing it's likely to achieve is to annoy us. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
