Starting the test client has occured a problem

can not launch debugger

----

I was connecting to a remote broker set the debug port bt im getting errors

wat to do for a successful debugger launc??

Test (from you local) machine if the debugport is open/reachable with:

telnet <RemoteMachineNameOrIP> <DebugPort> (Please note, that a "space" is used in between the 2 arguments: It is space and not ":" !)

Note that each EG (Execution Group) has its own debugport (if configured) and that there might (likely) also be firewalls which can block your port. You are hopefully/likely using some port in the range around e.g. 9997.

If you can connect to the port, then the screen on the telnet (on windows) will just turn black (probably some strange security mechanism on Windows): On Windows you (would) have to issue telnet-commands in the dark (well... there is a command or setting where you can change that)

If you cannot connect, then the screen will show an error message (after some time). If you have an error message do a telnet "locally" "on the remote" server: If it works you likely have a firewall, which blocks the port (to be accessible from you local/other machine). If not recheck the configuration of the debug port on the EG. Also restart the EG (manually or in the command-line with "mqsireload").
