If you have no backups, then you have no backup from which to recover - anything.
Why did you decide to delete the .ini file?

having no backup... beware that this will be an unsupported move...
Look at the mqs.ini file on a system with same OS and same version of MQ.
Copy the mqs.ini file and change the relevant portions and adjust to the local installation... No guarantees. It might just work...
Supported scenario?
Rebuild the server and install MQ new. Not having any backup for the system files do you at least have a backup for the qmgrs objects?
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

You recover an .ini file pretty much the same way you recover any other file in the filesystem - from a backup. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

You might want to develop, test, and implement a comprehensive backup/recovery methodology for all of WMQ - as you would for any other mission-critical application.
You might want to begin by searching google for 'how to backup and restore websphere mq'. Then read the document you find. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
