Folks,
the documentation says that it is possible to set up multiple User Name Servers to improve pub/sub performance via local local security validation, then is rather coy about how to actually do this. Does anyone have any practical experience of doing this? The Config Mgr can only know about one UNS at a time, so how will this work in practise? One on NT and one on a Unix box perhaps?
Thanks -

I've used multiple UNS's by having multiple brokers, each configured to use a different UNS. There's nothing available in terms of load balancing or availability. |

Jonathan,
what I would like clarification about is the detail of how it's done. It's easy enough to create a UNS on each broker platform and point the broker to it, but given that ACL changes are made at the config mgr via the control center, which can only specify one UNS, how do you control getting the information to the other UNS's? Also, I recall something in the manual about ann UNS's having access to a single list of principals. Does that simply mean the list you create in the control center?
Thanks -
