Hi,

We are upgrading our current MQ 6.1 to 7.0 and at the same time moving to AIX from Windows. As a part of this upgrade, we also are trying to implement security using Active Directory in AIX MQ environment as well since that is what we use in our current Windows MQ environment.

The AIX admin setup the integration with AD and I am able to log into AIX server with my LDAP id, but when I try to connect to remote QMGR running on that server using MQ explorer from my local machine it throws back a AMQ4036 exception.

My LDAP id is mapped to the local 'MQM' group on the AIX servers. It will be great if i can get some input on what am I missing in the configuration and if this approach will work.

If nothing else, Unix is case sensitive and the local MQM group is not the same thing as the mqm group....
