I have to replace a DB node with JCN. The existing esql code in DB node is very very large which can't be converted to JAVA entirely.
Hence we have to use another compute node as well. But the problem is that we have to make some calculations extracting some data from the DB which can't be done in normal compute node.
My question is that how can we traverse between a normal compute node and JCN? Can we call a java procedure written in JCN from the compute node ESQL?

Just write the JCN to put the database results into LocalEnvironment or Environment.

Then do the calculations and transformation in the Compute node.

I'm sure this isn't what you are looking for, but doesn't your problem statement suggest you are better off NOT moving to the JCN? Is there a part of the picture I am missing?
