The WMB 7.0 info center says

Is it save to assume that WMB 7.0 would work OK with MQ 7.1?

It's not a question of whether it will work or not.

It's a fact that it's not supported. Not even Broker v8 supports MQ 7.1 right now.

Yes, it probably does work.

Does this mean that it probably will work but it would not be supported in case of a problem? I guess that implied questions are:

Are customers advised (by IBM and by mqjeff) to upgrade to MQ 7.1?

Should customers avoid upgrading to MQ 7.1 because of the lack of IBM support for other products<-->MQ7.1?

MQ 7.1 is not explicitly supported by any version of Message Broker as of this particular moment.

Therefore, using any version of Message Broker with MQ v7.1 is explicitly an unsupported configuration, and thus it will make working a PMR more challenging at least.

I don't have any personal recommendations to make about whether you should or should not upgrade to MQ 7.1.
