We are looking to deploy a new instance of the HTTP Proxy Servlet running in WAS on a brand new linux server. Are there any guidelines as to which versions of of the servlet are supported within which version of WAS?

We are currently running broker 6108 (on AIX) and our Application team would like to host the servlet within WAS v8 (given its a new server).

The info centre only refers to WAS etc by name, and gives no guidance as to whether there are any version restrictions for this.

Best answer is to simultaneously a) try it, and b) open a PMR asking the question.
