Hi,
I was under the impression that MQSeries did not support unicode queue managers, yet. I just noticed in the Oct 2002 edition of the Application Programming Reference that it only qualifies UCS-2 as not being supported. While in the June 2002 edition, it says just plain Unicode Queue Managers are not supported. And to add to my confusion, I just saw a Redbook that says when using WCS, to alter the Queue Manager to use CCSID = 1208
Can someone please clarify whether MQSeries now supports 1208 queue Managers. And if so, what sort of ramifications are there to this. I assume stuff like Explorer and Services will not work with the Queue Managers. Thanks!
