Hi all
,
I'm trying to send (outbound) an email using the smtp server of gmail... "smtp.gmail.com" and using the port 465 (SSL) -and also I've tryied with 25-... and using my gmail account and my password on the properties of the Managed connection factory... of the external service wizard
I'm also marking the SSL property...
But It's not working and therefore not sending emails...

I always get the same error when testing the component: "ServiceUnavailableException" ... "The adapter could not get a connection to Email Server".

Does anyone know if it's any kind of strange validation that gmail makes?
Does anyone know any other way of sending an email with smtp server, that I can use?
By the way... does anyone know any: IP , PORT , USERNAME , And PASSWORD of any SMTP free Server ? and can send it to me to test my email outbound import?

Any help will be apreciated...

REGARDS

Did you verify that the firewall was allowing you to connect to smtp.gmail.com?

I had changed the codification of the adapter to ISO-8859-1 (which is the default configuration of the argo mail server), but im getting the same error...
Any ideas? or suggestions?
