Hi Experts,
First i tell reagarding architecture
AMQ server communicating with BMQ server where the connectivity between them is through IPV4 and for future sue IPv6 as well
BMQ server--=>Client where the connectivity is between them is IPV4
Now the requirement is that BMQ server should communicate with AMQ server with ipv6 and BMQ-> with client on ipv4 ...
How to do this configuration.
Should i have to create and different channel and listener for both stack
As of now the architecture was that A and B MQ server will communicate thru ipv4 only through one floating IP address ....but now suddenly client wants to add Ipv6..what changes should i do to makeit working any links? |

Thanks from the information what i researched the network team wil configure a single hostname with both ipv4 and ipv6 stack and for MQ configuration what i have to worry about is floating ipaddress that will be used for the communication with other client.
Also for the traffic to flow from either ipv4 or ipv6 we need to configure different channel and different lsitener one for ipv4 and ipv6 so when i telnet which ever is listenening can take the trafic ....
Regards,

Use DNS names if you can, or a NAT address if not. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
