I have setup a multi instance QMGR
I have created a sender channel from the multi instance queue manager to a different queue manager.
I have set the DISCINT to 0 on this channel. The channel is currently running. When I switch over the Queue Manager to the other box, the channel goes to inactive state. Is this the expected behaviour? The SDRs from the other Queue Managers work just fine without any problem and they are re-establishing the connection.
I can always setup channel triggering to start the channel even after it switches over, but just wanted to understand the behaviour. |

I was under the impression, but a happy to be corrected if not, that when a multi-instance queue manager fails over (manually or otherwise) that it effectively restarts on the other node, therefore, if you have not set the channel to trigger then I would expect the channel to be inactive. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
