Hi,
I am a MQ newbie...
We have an existing mainframe application that uses MQ and the CICS bridge to populate a mainframe IMS database. We are developing a new server based application and want to process the exact same messages that are received at the mainframe. Is there any way to configure MQ to forward the messages to our server based MQ installation while still retaining the messages for processing by the CICS bridge.
The idea for this phase of our project is to make things transparent to all of the clients that are sending messages to the mainframe MQ. By still being able to both process on the mainframe and forward to our server based new development we could run the old and the new systems in parallel. The clients would not be impacted in any way.
I am hopeful this can be done through MQ configurations and setup and not require any mainframe development. We do not currently have mainframe developers engaged on the project.
