Use XP-Mode. The runtime does not work on Win7.
This gives you an XP Virtual MAchine pretty well integrated with the Win7 system.
I've instaled the V6.1 toolkit on Win 7/64bit without issue.
It seems that your kit might be missing a few files.
I'd also install the Installation Manager (latest version) first. Then add the .id file ind \disk1\ as a local repository.
I'd also install 6.1 before V7. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Be aware that, despite smdavies99's claims to have it working, 6.1 is completely unsupported on Windows 7.
So if you're doing anything other than building a developer workstation, STOP NOW. |

Be aware that anything you do to run broker 6.1 on Win 7 is beating a square peg into a round hole. So it's going to be slow, you're going to have to use workarounds and accept that it's all a bit cumbersome.
And not supported.
If it works at all, be happy and move on. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
