Hi, ALL!

The OS of my PC is win xp x64.

and I install message Broker for win x64, but it didn't work!

but after I remove message Broker for win x64 and install MB for win 32, the latter works correctly!

Can anyone tell me the reason and help me to make MB for win 64 run successfully?

Move to Vista or Win7 OR find a copy of Server 2003/64. I've used the latter successfully.

I'm in the other situation at work where I have this shiny new(ish) Laptop with Win7/64 and need to run V6.1 Runtime. These two don't mix. It took a lot of work but I now have 6.1.0.9 (runtime and TK) running in XP mode on said laptop.

XP/64 was IMHO a half hearted attempt by Microsoft to put out a consumer 64bit OS. Driver support is patchy at best. App support? even worse.
IT was a real shame as they had a decent 64bit OS (Server 2003). They could have used that but they didn't.

Finally, I have to ask, do you really need to do your developent on an OS( XP-64) which frankly is dead (and should be burried). I know that many readers here still use it (32bit version) on a daily basis but for new setups?
Do you really need 64bit for developement? Please don't tell us that you are planning to run XP-64 in production?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
