Hi all,
A client of ours needs an automated script to correlate queues within a queue manager, and a name of the client accessing these queues.
One of the ways to know which client accesses which queues, is to correlate user id, or ip address.
However:
A) User ID is only supplied if MCA is used, or when we're talking about a client connection, only if Java isn't used (because some clients use "" as username)
B) I cannot think of a way to back-capture (meaning, non real-time) all the MQOPEN attempts. I thought of Qmgr Events, but those are only in the event of a failure. MQTrace is not sufficient.
So - any other solution? Thoughts? Ideas?
Thanks. |

SupportPac MA0Z can be used on SVRCONN channels to log Client MQI calls, including MQOPEN. _________________ Glenn |
