Hi,
I am trying to simulate all channel states in a Distributed Queue Environment and I have to make a channel go in-doubt status.
How can I achieve this?? Please advice |

Why? What's the requirement? If you're trying to prove your monitoring works, you should be testing running, inactive, stopped, and all-other-states.
To simulate in-doubt, you'll need to pull the network cable the channel is using at exactly the right moment in the MCA's processing or they'll go into retry instead.
I wish you every fortune with this; I've never achieved it. Though I've never actually tried to achieve it.
In 15 years of using WMQ I can recall 3 instances of channels that were in doubt. Against many, many, many that were retrying. All 3 were the result of network "improvements" or the sys admins doing something they apologised for later. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
