hint

Test the setup using the

mqsicvp command

Look it up in the InfoCentre and see what you need to do BEFORE using that command.
It isn't all that hard to find especially if you search this forum.

I typed "connecting to a database" into the InfoCenter search and the first link in the list was titled "Enabling ODBC connections to the database"
