Greetings all!

IBM's ATS group will be offering a free WMQ on z/OS wildfire workshop at the Research Triangle park TEC center in Raleigh Durham Dec 14-16 2011.

This workshop has been updated for WMQ V7.1 and WMQ FTE V7.0.4, it includes both lecture and labs, and is FREE! Well, you still have to pay for your own travel if you are not local,

Rumor has it that there will also be someone from the development lab helping to deliver the material on the new features of WMQ 7.1.

Special emphasis is being placed on the new Shared Message Data Set feature, designed to maximize your CF storage.

Unfortunately, you have to get your IBM representative to enroll you. So if interested, please contact your local IBM rep. If you don't know who your rep is, please see:

Thank you!

Any chance this could be delivered ILO? Even if just for the lecture portions?

But if there is enough demand I suppose we could, please contact your local IBM rep.

What is good about these sessions is the labs - having a chance to play with the new features without having to install (which starts the clock running on that pesky one year to implement countdown) or worry about impact to your environment.

We are taking this on the road in 2012, so there will be other locations, if we have the demand.

The plans (which are subject to cancellation and change) are for

San Francisco Jan10-12 2012
New York, NY Jan 24-26, 2012
Dublin, OH Jan 31-Feb 2, 2012
Chicago Feb 21-23, 2012
