I have written a broker 7 web service with soap input and reply nodes. The consumer of this web service is an application called OTIC. When OTIC calls the web service it seems to be pulling in the broker deployable wsdl every time and trying to validate it. As the deployable wsdl has an INCLUDE statement OTIC throws an error.
I've written and consumed a few web services in my time and I've never seen this behaviour from a third party, has anyone else? In my experience you give the comsumer a copy of your wsdl, and they configure their software based on what you've given them. Then they simply send you an appropriate soap message.

One possible workaround: tell OTIC to turn off validation.

Unfortunately our OTIC bods don't seem to know how to do that. I've run out of patience and asked them to go to OpenText (OTIC vendor) to figure out how to switch it off.
While messing around I did manage to get broker to generate a deployable wsdl with import instead of include, the web service works but I can't display the wsdl using ?wsdl in a browser.
