There are a small number of defect fixes in this release, plus new switches to disable the saving of subscriptions and force all MQGETs to disable syncpoint.

What is the MQGET sync fix for? Why would someone choose to use this option?

If the source queue manager has a large number of objects defined relative to the amount of free log space, then a series of MQGETs issued by saveqmgr under syncpoint can fail where they wouldn't if they weren't wrapped in a transaction. It's a fairly rare event but has caught one or two people.
