I need to find a broker state runing in an AIX box from NT box that has its configuration manager. The query has to be done from a script not the Control Center.

there are some commands like rexec, rsh, rcp which executes commands on remote m/c and returns the data back.

am really not sure what does this mean ? What do u check whether broker is up and running or get into granular like check Data flow engines .. -whatever be the case talk to system adminitstrator he/she should be able to help u with ...
