I tried to search how to put messages with qload to a queue with different message id... this is possible through RFHUTIL but not sure if q / qload allows the same , or if there is any option which I am unable to get.
situation is I need to put some batches to a queue from file which I am doing from a file through q/qload....now our application requires that all the messages put should be of different message id ... The messages are in XML . I am able to put these to the queue from a file using RFHUTIL but q / qload does not allow this.
Is there any option that allows the q / qload to do the same.
thanks in advance... |

And just what does the documentation that comes with qload say? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Really? The version of the PDF I got from the IBM web site just now talks about it.
Though in fairness there isn't an actual section or example on "setting a different message id'. It does however discuss the MQMD in some detail. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

That one. There isn't a different version (unless someone's not bothered to update since 2008)! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
