Is there a way to emulate JMS application message properties (i.e. the get/setXXXProperty()) between JMS and non-JMS MQSeries applications using MQMD fields only.

One side of the interface is the out-of-the-box MQ adapter that comes with Siebel 7. The other side I have full control over.

The get/setProperty() methods allow me to identify the application-specific category of the XML message before I parse it. This is a valuable feature because I need to know the schema to use for validation before invoking the parser.

Not a biggy, but I would like to validate the message before parsing it.

Thanks in advance
