Hi,
I have FileInput node which connects to a remote directory via FTP to read a file. The FTP Configurable service is configured with a Scan Delay of 1 Sec. So I am expecting the File node to grab files every second. However I am seeing that the File continues to sit on the Input directory for few seconds and doesn't seem to be honoring scan delay set on the configurable service. We are on WMB 7.0.0.0 on AIX. Has anybody seen this problem?

How do you know that the scan delay is not honored? Are you sure that the file handles have all been closed and the file is writable / movable when you think that it is just sitting there? Also upgrade to WMB 7.0.0.2 or better 7.0.0.3 _________________ MQ & Broker admin
In the general case, the problem of determining if a file is ready to be read or moved is Turing complete. It is the same as the Halting Problem - "Has the program that is writing the file halted?".
