Hi All,
We are developing a proof of concept to check if we can configure cluster environment with 2 nodes in WPS V7. We have some questions which needs clarification. Below is the configuration we had:
Deployment Manager on Server1
HTTPServer on Server1
Node1 on Server1
Node2 on Server2.
Node1 and Node2 are in cluster. Below are the questions we have while testing cluster setup.
1) Do we need to have Deployment Manager up and running for the nodes to work. If we stop Deployment Manager, will the Nodes still be in cluster.
2) To test the cluster, we stopped Node2 and Node1 seems to be receiving all the requests and processing fine. But if we stop Node 1, we could see that Node2 is receiving the messages. But its not able to process. Below is the error we notice in logs. Has anyone came across the same issue:
LocalExceptio E CNTR0020E: EJB threw an unexpected (non-declared) exception during invocation of method "transactionRequiredActivitySessionSupports" on bean "BeanId(NNNNNConsoleV3App#NNNNNConsoleV3EJB.jar#Module, null)". Exception data: com.ibm.bpe.api.EngineLookupBusinessFlowManagerHomeFailedError: CWWBE0166E: The EJB lookup for the interface BusinessFlowManagerHome failed.
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name ejb/com/ibm/bpe not found in context "local:".
I hope my questions are clear enough. Any inputs would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Kiran |

looks like you only had one of the nodes acting as EJB servers. Both should. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
