Hi ,

When I install the MQ 7.1 Installation problem on AIX 5.3 TL 12 with 64 bit.I.m getting following error. Please help me out on this.

RPM Error Summary:

The following packages were requested for installation
but are not valid RPM packages:
PreReqs
READMEs
licenses
readadd.txt

MQ 7.1 is not released. Maybe you mean MQ 7.0.1 ?

It looks like you are telling the installer to try and install files which are not installation packages.

WebSphere MQ for AIX is not installed using rpm. Make sure you have the correct packages for AIX and read the installation instructions in the Information Center here: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv7/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.mq.amqaac.doc%2Faq10330_.htm

The problem is with OS. when I hit smitt it is not picking up the latest TL l instead of this I hitted smitty install_latest brings up all TL's and went fine. correct me if I wrong...Thanks to every one on this.

I said that only yesterday, people would get the versions mixed up!
