Did a search but cannot find anything matching. May I know is it possible for a QM of v7 connect with an QM of v6 for HUB & SPOKEN / disturbed queuing i.e. HUB of V7 - SPOKEN of v6?
Or, can QM of v7 join clusters of v6 QMs?
Search harder. There's a great section within the WMQ V7.0 Info Centre that deals with migration and answers your questions. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.

The MQ v7.0 General Announcement contains the gem:
Quote:
Compatibility: WebSphere® MQ V7.0 queue managers and clients interoperate with queue managers and clients from any previous level of WebSphere MQ or MQSeries® products.
I recommend that MQ v6 queue managers should be at the latest FixPack level, particularly if they are in MQ clusters, as there are a lot of APARs for cluster issues in v6. The same rationale applies to MQ v7, go for v7.0.1.6 if possible. _________________ Glenn
