Toolkit version: 6.1.0.303

This behaviour has just started happening, has been normal for a couple of years.

I am using a Favorites 'drawer' in which I have all of the nodes I use most commonly. Yesterday the ability to drag 'n drop nodes onto the designer pane stopped working. When I try it just shows the 'no entry' symbol. After a bit of trial and error, I noticed that this does NOT effect nodes in the stanrdard drawers and, if I simply drag one of those nodes without even bothering to drop it on the designer pane, the Favorites drawer behaviour is fixed, although only for that flow (if I open another flow I have to repeat the procedure).

I wondered whether it was workspace specific, but it appears to effect ALL workspaces in exactly the same way.

I haven't installed anything in this environment recently that might explain the behaviour (or at least I can't recall doing so). I am using the version of eClipse that comes with the MB install.

I haven't tried removing everything from the Favorites drawer and put some back yet (I'll do that next) but was just wondering whether anyone has seen this before (I asked all of our contractors and none of them had on their travels). Very odd !

Has anyone come across this before, and if so ( or even if not), can you suggest any other possible strategies that might revert the behaviour for Favourites to be the same as for any other drawer.

You may like to update to latest toolkit, 6.1.0.9 released March 2011.

Yeah thanks for the suggestion, that *is* going to happen sometime in the near future, it just takes a while in large orgs to get all the support services lined up from our external suppliers. I appreciate that we are somewhat dragging our feet but not from any lack of desire from the Broker guys ;-:

For now though it is going to be this version, and as I said above, it has been working just fine for a pretty long time so something has gone awry and potentially could be fixed, if only I could figure out what has occurred.

Regards

Fraser.
