hi,

I have created multi isntance queue manager on Server A as Active.
Using, addmqinf , I have created standby isntance on Server B.

Now, I have to change the attributes of multi instance queue manager
using runmqsc.
This is for creating custom channels and changing channel attributes on the multi instance queue manager.

I'm thinking of doing it on first active queue manager on Server A and repeating the same with switching over the standing queue manager to Active queue manager on server B.

Is there any simplest approach of doing it one time, instead of repeating it for all the instances of queue manager?

We're not a support desk with an SLA. IBM has one of those, and as a license holder you're allowed to use it.

And it's an odd question, if you think about where the queue definitions are held in a multi-instance setup.

For future readers, all MQ objects defined to a multi-instance qmgr are stored on shared disk, and so all changes made by runmqsc are immediately available on every instance of the qmgr.
