Hi all,
I need to provide details of what access levels WMB needs to access the SAP server and Metadata repository to our SAP security team but I cannot find any Message Broker documentation for setting up the User on the SAP server and I know very little about SAP myself. I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction for documentation on this area or provide answers to the questions below
1.) Does this user id need to be a logonable SAP id. or a CPIC id. (non logonable) that is typically used for communications with external systems. Also, will this be a common id. invoked by the Broker for all interfaces that need to use the SAP Adapter ?
2.)What SAP profiles would the id. need to access to ? (SAP has pretty rigid security layer and accesses are controlled through profiles etc.)
3.)What is the security aspect of the id. / password assuming it is invoked by the Broker in a remote system ?

The base behind the adapter is the SAP JCO. For the rest you need to talk to your friendly SAP specialist/consultant _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

yes, User Id and password should complete previleve to Read/Write IDocs in the SAP Sys.

you have to create a partner profile in SAP which should be through tRFC and give complete access to Read/Write IDocs
