Hi All,

I would like to know if it is possible to implement a simple system blocking mechanism (Like IP Based Blocking) thru WMQ 5.3. The Idea is to have control over which of the systems can have access to which Q Managers on the server. Is there any such features readily available in V5.3 without having to Code Up a Channel/Security Exit?

Any suggestions in this regards will be helpful.

Sounds like a job for a personal firewall, try sygate - you can block by any combination of ip & port.

Alternatively, win2000 has packet filtering built in.
