May I know how to output the count of messages after filter in MQSI flow?

For example,

MQInput Node --> Filter --> Output

10 messages comes in the and 8 meet the filter criteria. Would like to output the number 8 at the end.

Please advise how to handle this. Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks.

You will have to make use of some persistent storage to store the counter. Each time when message passes thru the Filter node, you could increment a counter in Database/Shared memory or file.

John,

You will have to create a database table with single integer field to store count. In the filter node, you could increment this counter by 1 each time when the condition is evaluated to true. Once you get last message, you could retrieve final counter value and send it in the output message.

Thanks again Kiran.
May I know where & how to create a database table? What should be the additional ESQL statement in the filter node? Thanks again.
