I have a compound NEON input format in use and would like to use mqsiput.exe to put an ASCII file using that format in a message flow.
How do I set the mqsiput header file so that MQSI "understands" the NEON format used, now the NEON parser just reads the first line in the ASCII file and skips the rest with "xxx trailing characters after ... "
Since the stuff works with Visual Tester, the problem seems to be with CR/LF's or something

Sammy,
What do you mean 'understand' the NEON format. Do you mean the RFH header so the message flow knows which Input Format to use.
Or is it just a case of getting the data correct. You should be able to put any combination of data out with mqsiput, either with or without CR/LFs.
Post more details about what you're trying to do and what the problems are.
The only problem I've come across with CR/LFs is where the 'real' data had them, but I couldn't get them in to the Visual Tester. I had to change my Input Formats to a different terminator to test and then change them before running in MQSI.
Cheers.
