Make sure the service is running, and running correctly?

There is a known, fixed, reliable process for answering this question and most other questions you might possibly have about any piece of software.

It is process with a simple name "troubleshooting".

Learn it, follow it, love it, let it take you to great heights of achievement and success.

It starts with step 1) Determine the actual error.

You may, indeed, have actually performed step 1 and even several other steps in the process.

However, you have chosen not to share the results of those steps with us.

That would be a problem, and it would have helped if you'd shared that nugget of information with us.

So what does the event log say about the service not starting?

Hi Vitor, mqjeff..

Thank you for your help, i finally figured it out, mq service was not starting because my windows password has changed, so i had to update in mq registry.. After that i could able to start it.

Thanks guys..

Typically the mq service is configured to run under a service id (hence the name) rather than the id of an individual. Mostly (but not entirely) to avoid this kind of problem....
