This situation really archaic and unsupported. I know that - have no choice. I can logon to the server and runmqsc. M071 client still not working OK even though I can connect on a SRVCONN with MCAUSER().
I need help with how MQ5.3 supports the listener on VMS5.3. Because it is MQ5.3 there is no LISTENER MQ object. I tried looking for a running process with text=runmqlsr or text=port# and came up with no matches. So I guess the listener architecture is something like an inetd setup on Unix. Anybody out there remember the listener details on VMS or perhaps know where there is VMS MQ Admin documentation?
