Hi ya.
I'm collecting input for a PowerPoint and socialization effort of WMB maturity, specifically directed towards IT Operations.
For example, using triggers on output queues is an example of a step that less mature implementations of message flows overlook. Some implementers are content with letting messages build up in a queue; but using a trigger could automate some responsive action.
The purpose of the PowerPoint is to promote concepts that are automatable and can run autonomously in the environment without human intervention which increase the reliability and visibility of activity in WMB operations. The goal of the effort is to provide information to IT Operations personnel that help them open their minds to new ideas.
Anyone care to offer some opinions? What maturity steps have you seen in your organization that you may like to share?

That's more of an MQ thing than a Broker thing.
In general, output queues should be processed by a real application, or monitored by a real monitoring system for lack-of-processing.
