Hello,

I am getting this error for a user even though he is added in MQM group.

"Explorer cannot administer the queue manager because the user is not authorise to open the queue 'SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL', (AMQ4401)"

OS: Solaris
MQ: 6.0.2.8

I don't want to use setmqaut because the user is already a member of MQM group. Is there anything I am missing here which is preventing this user to get remote access of the QMGR in MQ Explorer? I have couple or other similar servers and all of then are working fine except this one.

Any help or hint to troubleshoot is highly appriciated.

Since adding the user to the 'mqm' group (lower case?) did your run refresh security on the qmgr for it to pick up the change in group membership?
