I have developed a server and client program for Point to Point Queue Manager.
And I have defined 50 queues in the QM.
When I do the test, the client program will create 50 threads to listen these 50 queues. The server will send the message to those queues.
When all messages are sent, the server program will be end. And then I will kill the client process.
After I do several times for this test, I found the following exception when I started up the client or server program.
2011-08-09 17:10:45,466 INFO [Thread-6] JMSSub - MQJMS2005: failed to create MQQueueManager for '10.210.64.104:PubSubQM'
2011-08-09 17:10:45,466 INFO [Thread-7] JMSSub - Linked: MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
MQJE016: MQ queue manager closed channel immediately during connect
Closure reason = 2009
The configuration for the listener and channel is not changed for those tests. And I found that after I restart the QM, it can be connnected again.
Why I can't connect the MQQueueManager suddenly before restart? |

Ensure that when you 'kill' the client process that you disconnect gracefully first. Look in the manuals, and historical threads here, for MaxChannels, and see if you can't work it out yourself _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
