Hi All,

I am working on a WTX flow, where we have to split a huge HIPAA X12 message into individual messages. Now, I have gone thru few documents, and found that messages can be split and can be put in a file or in a queue. But we would actually want those splitted messages to come out of the output card/node of the WTX and process those individual messages in the flow. If any one has ever worked on such a thing, could you please share your knowledge. I know there are ways to read those splitted messages in a file or in a queue, but we are looking for a more straight forward flow. Any help is highly appreciated.

Patience is a virtue as well as a opera!

We're not a support desk with an SLA. If it's an urgent question raise a PMR.

So you want one message to come into a flow and then go into a WTX node and then have the WTX map split the large message into smaller ones?

That would be more of a WTX question than a broker question. I have no idea if a WTX map can split one message into many others.

In ESQL you could split a message up using various functions and then use PROPAGATE statements to send the smaller messages on their way.

You need to find a WTX expert.

Even basic tuition in WTX (with a few words on WMB) would have revealed that this is a fundamental task.
The 'functional map' is your friend... and when using in WMB it is slightly easier with WTX 8.3 than WTX 8.2

Nice to know that my exhorbitant healthcare premium is being put to good use ...
