With a sys admin on Solaris, we created a WF config (FMC1) using fmczutil for the "Web client using MQSeries" config procedure. However, later when I invoke fmczutil, I don't see the options "Create" and "Change default configuration" in the Configuration Commands Menu. Why are these options missing?

I think you should have all the rights (like root) to create a configuration.

That is correct. However, I thought that the config admin (fmc) would have the appropriate rights. Of course, that depends on how the sys admin setup the userid.

Yes
root or sudo root
(I don't know what sudo root is but I have heard of it here in the forum. Maybe your Solaris admin knows more about it)

You need to use root login. U may also check the installation document and it clearly says that we need root access. Sometimes, when more than one person wants to use root access your AIX administrator can create 'suedo' root access that is same as root. Both the ids will work for creating new config.
