I can't seem to find out how to refresh a cluster via MQExplorer. I see the 'refresh security' but no way to refresh the cluster. I'm assuming that I need to do this from a full repo qmgr, but when looking at the full repo qmgr I can't seem to find the solution.
Has anyone done this via MQexplorer? |

You have to work with the qmgr under the Queue Manager Clusters folder, not under the Queue Managers folder.
You almost certainly DO NOT need to Refresh the Cluster membership of any qmgr, particularly of an FR. |

I feel the need to ask the time-honoured question "why do you need to refresh the cluster?".
Because under normal circumstances you don't. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

And please be very specific of the circumstance that make you believe you need to refresh the cluster. Most of the time it is knowing what to do that will remove the problem, not using refresh cluster... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

It's worth noting that the REFRESH CLUSTER command does not "refresh the cluster". _________________ Peter Potkay

Thanks everyone. Due to resource limitations I was unable to log onto the server to enter the runmqsc commands, hence my attempt at refreshing the cluster via mqexplorer.
I subsequently was able to hit the server and refreshed the cluster via runmqsc. |

But you still almost certainly didn't need to refresh the cluster via EITHER method. |

Why did you believe that you needed to issue the REFRESH CLUSTER command? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
